As a Technical Lead, you will lead the detailed technical design and development of digital banking solutions within a major banking environment. You will ensure implementation aligns with business requirements and overarching architecture principles, while providing technical leadership across Java and microservices development. You will guide the team through design, development, integration, and go‑live.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Solution Design & Development

• Lead detailed solution design and development activities.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Break down development activities for the team to execute effectively.
• Review source code to ensure compliance with business, technical, and architecture requirements.
• Ensure designs integrate seamlessly and operate effectively across workflows.

Technical Leadership

• Provide leadership and guidance across Java, API, and microservices development.
• Supervise and mentor technical teams to ensure delivery quality.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support change management activities.

We’d Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

• You have at least 10 years of experience designing, managing, and optimising APIs and/or microservices.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Technical Team Lead, Integration Lead, or Architect Lead.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in banking.
• You have successfully led and completed the go‑live of at least one digital banking solution for corporate customers within a major financial institution or bank.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong Java development experience.
• You have strong experience with microservices architecture.
